ARAM Technologies (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the Kanavu AI platform at kanavuai.com. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information about you when you use our services.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: When you sign up we collect your name, email address, business name, and a hashed password. We never store plain-text passwords.

Business data: Information you enter into the platform — contacts, invoices, appointments, campaigns, and so on — is stored securely and associated with your organization.

Usage data: We automatically collect log data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and actions taken. This helps us improve the product and detect abuse.

Communications: If you contact support we keep a record of that correspondence.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Kanavu AI platform.
• To send transactional emails (invoices, password resets, email verification).
• To enforce our Terms of Service and prevent fraud.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Data Sharing

We share data with service providers who help us operate Kanavu AI:

• Stripe — Payment processing and billing.
• SendGrid — Transactional email delivery.
• Twilio — SMS and voice communications.
• OpenAI — AI-generated content and chatbot replies.

Each provider is bound by data-processing agreements that restrict how they use your information.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal information is deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial records).

We use industry-standard security practices: HTTPS everywhere, bcrypt password hashing, httpOnly session cookies, and tenant-scoped database access. No system is 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect your data.

7. Cookies

We use a single httpOnly session cookie ( kanavu_session ) to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

Kanavu AI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice.
